AYURVEDA AND DOSHAS

If you landed on this page by clicking on the QR code in Master Richard‘s book and would like to know your dominant dosha, please fill out this form to receive your free self-assessment.
Ayurveda is above all a holistic and preventive medicine. It is a complete way of life that takes into account all aspects of the human being, as it involves paying attention to small symptoms before illness sets in. It also suggests adapting your lifestyle to improve your health and harmony. In essence, it considers the human being as a whole in order to find balance through physical and psychological aspects.
To help you better understand the doshas, I present their main qualities and characteristics in my book. This will enable you to better recognize your dominant dosha and adjust your behavior and habits to restore balance between them. You will also gain a better understanding of how character manifests itself, as well as guidelines for better recognizing the different profiles. The doshas are in constant motion, depending on your emotional state, eating habits, and lifestyle. Be attentive to your body, take care of your diet, adapt your behavior, and choose activities that will help balance them. It is also important to note that these qualities can vary from one person to another, as each individual has a unique combination of the three doshas (vata, pitta, kapha) that influences their constitution and personality traits.

BREATHING EXERCICES
HEART COHERENCE
Heart coherence breathing synchronizes the heart rate with rhythmic breathing at 6 cycles per minute (5 seconds inhaling, 5 seconds exhaling), according to the 365 rule: 5 minutes, 3 times a day. This balances the autonomic nervous system by activating the parasympathetic nervous system while modulating the sympathetic nervous system.
PHYSIOLOGICAL EFFECTS
Slow breathing creates a respiratory sinus arrhythmia at 0.1 Hz, harmoniously increasing heart rate variability (HRV). It lowers cortisol and promotes a state of calm.
PROVEN BENEFITS
Reduces stress/anxiety, lowers blood pressure, improves sleep and heart health; less depression, more resilience (meta-analyses). 432 Hz music This frequency is often presented as more harmonious with nature and human biological rhythms. Promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and slows the heart rate vs. 440 Hz (HRV clinical trials).
